PASADENA, CA — Curated by Performances à la Carte, Jazz ‘n Paz is back with its’ seasonal intimate jazz series of three concerts showcasing some of Los Angeles’ finest jazz musicians. Taking place on early Sunday evenings, the Fall 2019 season series opens October 6 with GF3 featuring Gary Fukushima; on November 17, with 2 + 1 Plus Latin featuring Louie Cruz Beltran; and on December 22, Carols of the Belles featuringBarbara Morrison. Jazz ‘n Paz takes place at 5:00 p.m. at Neighborhood UU Church in Pasadena. Series subscriptions for all 3 concerts are now on sale, offering a discount from individual concert tickets.

Jazz ‘n Paz Kicks off with a FUNdraiser!
Rhythm & Brews & BBQ ~ Saturday, September 7, 2019

In addition, Saturday, September 7 ~ Rhythm & Brews & BBQ, a special not to be missed, Jazz ‘n Paz fundraiser will take place from 5pm – 9pm in the beautiful garden of a private residence in Pasadena, featuring Nick Mancini B3 Organ Trio with Ty Bailie on Hammond B3 organ, Tina Raymond on drums, and Nick Mancini on Vibes, along with vocalist Jamie Perez and a (we’re not allowed to mention who) Legendary Guest Vocalist of world renown, who has been featured on over 20 recordings in almost every genre from traditional jazz and blues to gospel and pop. Her melodic voice, with its two-and-a-half-octave range, are known worldwide, as are her rich, unique, soulful and highly spirited interpretations.

Tickets to Rhythm & Brews & BBQ are $75 per person with limited availability on a requested first served basis. Special “Have It All” VIP tickets are available for $150 VIP per person, which include the Fall Fundraiser, the Fall 2019 Jazz ‘n Paz Series (3 concerts with reserved seating), a VIP ticket to the December 22 Holiday Cheer Post-Concert Private Party, and a complimentary “The Long Game” CD featuring the Nick Mancini B3 Organ Trio. The Saturday, September 7th Fundraiser, Rhythm & Brews & BBQ includes BBQ Buffet Dinner with Craft Beers, Concert followed by Marshmallow Roasting, S’mores, and coffee by the fire pits. Featuring Lyman Medeiros on bass, vocals by Jamie Perez, Nick Mancini on vibes, and special featured guest, Internationally renowned Latin bandleader Louis Cruz Beltran on congas and vocals, with Carlos Vivas on piano and Abelardo Quintaro on drums.

Carols of the Belles - December 22, 2019
Celebrate the holidays with Jazz ‘n Paz, featuring the vocals of Barbara Morrison, Jamie Perez, Renee Myara, and Catina DeLuna, along with Michael Ragonese on piano, Andres Salazar on drums, Danny Janklow on sax and flute, and Luca Alemmano on bass.
