PASADENA, CA — Goldenvoice, a Southern California concert promoter, announced a new music festival coming to Pasadena in August with The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem as headlining performers.

Called "This Ain't No Picnic," the festival will be held at Brookside at the Rose Bowl from Aug. 27 to 28. Other artists scheduled to perform at the festival include Beach House, Phoebe Bridgers, Courtney Barnett, Sparks and Mac DeMarco.

This Ain't No Picnic is a revival of a festival the concert promoter held during the late-'90s in Irvine, according to the Los Angeles Times.
