Pasadena Entrepreneurs Celebrate Grand Opening of Brain Balance

New Program Offers Life-Enhancing Benefits for Children who Struggle

Brain Balance Achievement Centers, a personalized, drug-free program that helps children reach their full potential in school, at home and in social settings, announced today that it has opened its newest franchise in Pasadena, California. The center is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Lori and James Sheldon, who bring decades of experience in the education industry. To celebrate the recent opening, the entrepreneurs will host a variety of events between April 11 and April 13.

To kick off the grand opening festivities, the center will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 11 at noon. Members of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance along with Dr. Rebecca Jackson, the Vice President of Program and Outcomes of Brain Balance. Additionally, Dr. Jackson will be giving a lecture on Thursday titled “Understanding Attention and Focus" at 7 p.m. at the Conscious Minds Production located at 35 E. Villa St. The lecture is open to the public and will go in depth about understanding the strengths and weaknesses tied to children who struggle with attention, along with tips on how to improve focus for children at any age. Limited seating available.

Brain Balance of Pasadena will also welcome local members of the community to attend a Brain Balance carnival, the Spring Spectacular, on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children and families in attendance will enjoy various booths and vendors, including story tellers, a balloon artist, photo booths, slime art, science experiments and more. There will be prizes at each booth for children and parents are welcome to spin the wheel of prizes to receive program discounts and assessment giveaways. The food truck Tacos El Mexicano will be on-site for purchase of food. There will be giveaways throughout all three events, with the most prominent giveaway on Thursday evening - a 36-session Brain Balance program enrollment scholarship, which is valued at $6,000.
