Randy's Donuts Celebrates Doughnut Day & Pride Month In Pasadena

Snag freebies on June 3, and mark Pride Month with rainbow-decorated doughnuts through June.

PASADENA, CA — Randy's Donuts, a 70-year icon in Los Angeles with a giant rooftop doughnut on its original site in Inglewood, is marking National Doughnut Day (June 3) and June Pride Month with doughnut specials at its Pasadena shop.

On Friday, June, 3, for National Doughnut Day, patrons can score a freebie: one free, classic doughnut to patrons from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., and no purchase necessary.

Plus, Randy’s Donuts will mark Pride Month in June with its "Pride Flag Donut," at $3.35 each, with a percentage of proceeds to Los Angeles and Orange County LGBTQ centers, company officials said.

Other Randy's Donuts locations include Inglewood (the original), El Segundo, Torrance, Downey, Santa Monica, Santa Ana and Costa Mesa.

The original Randy's Donuts opened in 1952 in Inglewood on West Manchester Boulevard and became an iconic landmark for movie/TV filming and tourist stops with its 32-foot, rooftop doughnut.

"Our fans come for the photo ops, but stay for the best donuts they’ve ever tasted," the company said.

Randy’s serves more than 60 varieties of classic, deluxe, fancy and premium doughnuts, most under $2, along with "Randy’s Rounds," a larger version of a donut hole. Also on the menu are Randy’s Roast proprietary coffee blend, espressos, cold brews, iced drinks and frappes.
