LOS ANGELES, CA — There is nothing quite like a classic diner breakfast — especially when it will only cost you 70 cents.

Norms will offer a plate of hotcakes, two eggs any style, and bacon or sausage for only 70 cents from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, in honor of 70 years in business.

The diner, which has become an L.A. staple, is also unveiling its first line of merch, which will includ retro-inspired mugs and tees.

Thousands of Southern Californians have dined at Norms since it opened its first location in 1949 on Sunset near Vine. Plus, there's something extra special about that first location — it is one of the best remaining examples of the mid-century Googie architecture movement, Time Out reported.

There are 19 Norms locations across Southern California, including San Gabriel Valley locations.
