Shooting In Downtown Pasadena; Man Arrested: Police

PASADENA, CA — A man was taken into custody after a shooting caused disruptions Wednesday morning in Downtown Pasadena, according to police.

Officers responded shortly after 10 a.m. to Los Robles Avenue and Walnut Street, where they found evidence of gunfire, police said. During the investigation process, authorities encountered and arrested a 44-year-old pedestrian who they classified as a person of interest, according to police. Authorities were not immediately sure if the man was a suspect or a victim, police said.

Police believe a second person and a vehicle were also involved in the shooting. No one was injured in the incident, police said, although the gunfire did result in a lockdown in the area.
