Troubled Metro Gold Line Again Disrupted

It's been a rough week for riders of the Metro Gold Line.

PASADENA, CA — A power issue Friday disrupted Metro Gold Line rail service through the Pasadena area.

The problem was reported about 12:11 p.m. north of Allen Station, according to Metro.

Gold Line service was halted between the Lake and Sierra Madre stations and shuttle buses were requested to transport riders, the agency reported.

Metro patrons were advised to anticipate heavy train loads and 20- minute service delays.

On Monday, repair work on downed lines necessitated single-tracking through the Allen, Lake and Sierra Madre stations.

Full service was restored on Thursday, Metro said.
