The Social Security Administration released the 2014 results on Friday. Again in 2014, Noah was the most popular name for boys in the country, but there was a change at the top for girls -- Emma moved up from the No. 2 spot in 2013 to claim No. 1 in 2014.Lots of organizations release lists of top names, but the <a href="http://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/background.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Social Security Administration data are based</a> on ”a 100% sample of our records on Social Security card applications as of the end of February 2015.”
