Yard House Launches Weekend Brunch In Pasadena

Among the new offerings Avocado Toast and Bread Pudding French Toast. The weekend hours and menu begin Saturday at Paseo Colorado.

PASADENA, CA — Need a new hot-spot for weekend brunch?

Yard House, the restaurant chain that made its name as a craft-brew pioneer, is widening its fare with a new brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all California locations, including in Pasadena.

Beginning Saturday, Sept. 7, the eatery will serve such fresh menu options as Avocado Toast, Bread Pudding French Toast & Fresh Berries, Nashville Hot Chicken with sweet-potato pancakes and Quinoa Power Bowls, along with specialty cocktails like the "Sunkissed Sangria" and the "Angry Grapefruit Rose."

A "bottomless drink package" will be available, with an entrée purchase, that includes house beers, Bloody Marys and mimosas. ("Bottomless" package not offered at LA Live locale.)

In Pasadena, Yard House is at Paseo Colorado at 300 East Colorado Blvd.

What else is on the brunch menu? See a sample of the offerings below:

  • Breakfast Burger: kurobuta pork burger and pork belly, flat grilled, and a cage-free fried egg with maple bacon cream sauce on a toasted panko bun
  • Machaca con Huevos: shredded braised beef and cage-free egg scrambled with red onion, pasilla peppers and jalapeños, topped with jack cheese and drizzled with green tomatillo and red ancho chili sauces.
  • Corned Beef & Potato Hash: hash of shredded corned beef with crispy ripped potatoes, roasted pasilla peppers and shallots, topped with green onion and a cage-free fried egg
  • Vegetable Frittata: cage-free eggs baked with spinach, asparagus, cauliflower, mushrooms and cheddar, topped with arugula and shaved parmesan
  • Loco Moco: our twist on the Hawaiian classic with a porcini-crusted beef burger patty, wild mushrooms and crispy onion strings on a bed of jasmine rice, topped with shallot gravy and a cage-free fried egg
  • Nashville Hot Chicken: fried chicken breast, coated with a hot pepper spice blend. Served with sweet potato pancakes, pickles, honey hot sauce and ranch dressing

During brunch, the regular full menu and bar service also will be available.
