Perhaps you are already planning your big party — or say you win one of the 100 85-inch big-screen TVs Graton is giving away Feb. 3 just in time for the Big Game — Graton's mixologist Jessica Christensen shared a fabulous game-day cocktail.

The Kick-off Margarita

  • Choice of Tanteo Habanero Tequila or Tanteo Jalapeno Tequila (1 ½ oz)
  • Midori Liqueur (1/2 oz)
  • Fresh Lime Juice (1 ½ oz)
  • Agave (1/2 oz)
  • Jalapeno Salt Rim
(Graton Resort & Casino)

Process: In a shaker tin add all ingredients into your shaker tin and drop in two fresh orange slices, add ice and shake. Strain into a bucket glass rimmed with jalapeno salt. Garnish with an orange slice and lime wedge.

Inspiration: “Inspired by the kick-off on game day, we went with a cocktail that had a kick as well. A colorful, spicy margarita where you can choose your spice level, Habanero for a big kick or Jalapeno for something more subtle.”
