DVC water polo assistant trains with national team

Diablo Valley College men’s assistant water polo coach Matt De Trane recently participated in the United States Men’s Senior National Team training camp in Colorado, and represented Team USA in the FINA Intercontinental Tournament in Gold Coast, Australia.
The United States won a silver medal in Australia.
De Trane, a Campolindo High graduate and former Pepperdine All American, has also been invited to train with the Senior National Team in Southern California.
De Trane scored three goals in the 2003 FINA World Championships. A 6-foot-6 attacker, De Trane has played for the New York Athletic Club.
