In August of 2017 a home that was listed on Maybelle in Gregory Gardens that was listed for $850,000 ended up selling at $1,050,000, making it the most expensive home EVER sold in that Pleasant Hill neighborhood.

Other homes throughout Pleasant Hill aren't exactly cheap -- the median list price is $630,000. Still, Pleasant Hill is home to a lot of wealthy young buyers. The share of Millennials living in this ZIP code of 94523 and earning six figures is more than two times higher than the national share according to CNN Money
