Star Student Provides Free Music Lessons

Pleasanton's Sanjana is recognized for her efforts to help the community, from children to the terminally ill.

Pleasanton, California — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

I am her Father

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

She is serving the community with her volunteer service tirelessly from covid times and helping tens of students learn music instruments free by organizing her volunteer based Music Academy. Her music academy website. She previously conducted free Math classes during covid times, provided music sessions at adult senior center and a girl scout member. Also on a weekly basis she meets & spends time with terminally ill old people and provides mental health support.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Her desire to give to community recognizing that not everyone can afford music but music can heal and provide mental health support to kids during stressful times. Her selfless efforts to give back to community by sharing her time and skill.
