REDONDO BEACH, CA — Good news for movie lovers who missed the big screen experience in Redondo Beach and Torrance: AMC DINE-IN South Bay Galleria 16 and AMC Del Amo 18 will reopen starting Friday for the first time since theaters closed in the pandemic.

Los Angeles County moved from its most restrictive tier to red tier this week, allowing for theaters to reopen at partial capacity.

"Auditoriums are at 40% capacity or less to allow for social distancing," according to AMC. "Masks are required before, during and after the movie unless you are enjoying food and drinks."
