Athens Services Hosts Free Compost Giveaway In Redondo Beach

Redondo Beach residents may receive up to 30 gallons of compost per person, while supplies last.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – Athens Services will be giving out free compost to Redondo Beach residents on Saturday, April 13 from 8 a.m. to noon at Wilderness Park. It's limited to 30 gallons of compost per person, while supplies last, according to the City of Redondo Beach.

Residents must bring proof of Redondo Beach residency and sturdy containers, the City said. Plastic bags will not be accepted, however shovels will be provided.

Wilderness Park is located at 1102 Camino Real, Redondo Beach, CA 90277.
