REDONDO BEACH, CA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Redondo Beach with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Redondo Beach Unified School District.
The first day of school for most students in schools in Redondo Beach is Aug. 16.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

- First Day: Aug. 16
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 20—24
- Winter Break: Dec. 18—Jan. 2
- Spring Break: April 8—12
- Last Day: June 6
