REDONDO BEACH, CA — The Beach Cities Health District will host three sessions of its free fitness series as part of Mental Health Awareness Month in May.

South Bay residents are invited to participate in three dates of Mindful Yoga on the Beach in Hermosa Beach. Attendees will meet at the beach adjacent to Scotty's restaurant on May 6, 13 and 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

"The BCHD Free Fitness Series is a way for residents to experience the benefits of group exercise and natural movement in a pressure-free, fun environment,” said BCHD CEO Tom Bakaly. “Adding dates for Mindful Yoga in May is a natural fit with Mental Health Awareness Month, with workouts designed for everyone, regardless of age or ability level.”
