REDONDO BEACH, CA — Festival goers will flood the shores of Redondo Beach starting Friday for the 2024 BeachLife Festival with this year's headlining acts Sting, Incubus and My Morning Jacket.

Throughout the weekend, the main focus will be on the more than 40 musical acts that will rock the four different stages. Here are five things you need to know about the festival in order to enjoy the day to the fullest:

No Designated Festival Parking

There are no dedicated parking lots for the BeachLife festival, but there are a variety of ways to get to the grounds. The festival will offer bike concierges and rideshare options at Dive N Surf at 300 N. Broadway and city parking at the Redondo Pier.

Clear Bag Policy

There is a clear bag policy to prioritize safety and efficiency. All bags must be made of clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and cannot be larger than 12 inches long, 6 inches wide and 12 inches high, officials said. Clear, resealable, 1-gallon plastic storage bags, fanny packs or non-clear small clutch bags smaller than 6 inches long and 8 inches wide.

No Cash

Food stalls and shops will not accept cash, so attendees should plan to bring their credit or debit cards. Festival runners said this choice is to make service quicker and safer and to lower the risk of transmission. Mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay are also accepted.

Prepare For Sun

The weather all three days is expected to be pretty clear and sunny with temperatures in the mid 60s. Festival runners advised attendees to bring refillable water bottles and sunscreen.

Food And Beverage

There will be a variety of food and beverage options at the festival including a massive craft beer bar featuring local breweries, multiple other bars, lounges, food vendors and food trucks across the venue with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available.

On top of the readily available options, the festival offers a chance to be served a four-course meal by celebrity chefs while seated onstage with the DAOU SideStage Experience. Reservations start at $100 and go up to $275 for some artists, not including fees. To make a reservation visit the festival's site.
