"We’ve been working diligently with our advisors, the artists, and our moral compass & responsibility to our music fans to develop a plan to compensate fans that came to see one of the several bands that didn’t get the opportunity to play," festival organizers said in a statement. "We appreciate that you spent your hard-earned money on our festival and that some of you might not have received the full experience you paid for."

Sunday's festivities were stopped after about 5 p.m. on the last day of the festival due to life-threatening conditions posed by wind gusts topping 50 miles per hour, public safety officials said.

The decision led to the cancellation of Sunday's performers, including ZZ Top, Gaby Moreno, Fleet Foxes, Asiatica, Trey Anastasio & Classic Tab, Sashamon and My Morning Jacket.

To submit a claim for a refund, ticketholders can visit the festival's webpage and allow festival organizers up to 10 days to respond. The claim window opened starting Monday at 9 a.m. and will stay open for 30 days.

Those seeking a refund for the SideStage Experience were advised to email [email protected] for a refund for the Trey Anastasio experience only.

"We stand by our Community and feel strongly that our fans will agree BeachLife has done the right thing despite the cancellation not being in our control," BeachLife Co-Founders Allen Sanford and Rob Lissner said. "We are a great community, we support each other, and the lives and well-being of each and everyone inside of our festival were and will always remain our first priority."
