Chargers' Melvin Gordon Going to Pro Bowl

Gordon is the second Charger in the 2017 Pro Bowl following cornerback Casey Hayward.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- The Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon was added to the AFC team for Sunday's Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida, the NFL announced Monday.

Gordon rushed for a team-high 997 yards this season, 13th in the NFL, while his 1,416 yards from scrimmage were sixth in the league. Gordon also led the team and tied for ninth in the NFL with 12 touchdowns.

Gordon is the second Charger in the 2017 Pro Bowl following cornerback Casey Hayward.

Both Gordon and Hayward will be playing in the NFL's annual all-star game for the first time.
