REDONDO BEACH, CA — A crash involving at least seven cars in Torrance Wednesday left four people hurt and blocked several street lanes for more than four hours.

The crash occurred about 7:40 a.m. at Crenshaw Boulevard and 181st Street, Torrance police Sgt. Alexander Martinez said.

The driver of a silver 2007 Nissan Murano was heading north on Crenshaw approaching 181st Street and rear-ended a 2014 Lexus, according to Martinez. The Nissan veered into opposing traffic and collided with five more vehicles, Martinez said.
