Police Standoff With Possibly Armed Suspect In South Bay

HARBOR CITY, CA — Los Angeles police were in a standoff with a possibly armed suspect who barricaded himself inside a home in Harbor City.

Officers responded to the 26200 block of President Avenue at about 9 a.m. after receiving a domestic violence report. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers believe that the man was possibly armed with a firearm.

LAPD established a perimeter in the area and sent for a SWAT team. Police said the suspect is inside the residence alone.
