What does this person teach?

AP Seminar and AP Research

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

AP Seminar and AP Research are very difficult classes but have turned out to be my favorite classes by far because of Mr. Hong's teaching. Not only does he show advanced knowledge in the subjects but he also shows that he cares for the kids that he teaches. He shows that he cares about our success and is willing to spend his time to make sure that we are successful not only during class but also in our interests outside of class. He keeps the class interesting, making sure everyone contributes and feels comfortable contributing. He creates an atmosphere that makes learning fun.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

I think the biggest thing is the atmosphere that he creates in his class that makes learning fun and allows all of us to feel comfortable contributing to whatever it is we are doing. He gives us the confidence to take on challenges.
