Redondo Beach Woman, 32, Killed In Fiery 101 Freeway Crash

Authorities identified a woman who died at the scene when a vehicle crashed off the Ventura (101) Freeway Friday.

The driver, identified by the coroner's office as 32-year-old Bronwyn O'Neill, was pronounced dead at the scene.

CALABASAS, CA — A Redondo Beach woman was killed in a fiery crash on the Ventura (101) Freeway in the Calabasas area, authorities said Saturday.

The crash was reported at 8:43 p.m. Friday on the northbound 101 Freeway at Las Virgenes Road, said California Highway patrol Officer Stephen Brandt.

The white Toyota Corolla went off the freeway exit, crashed and caught fire, Brandt said.
