Redondo Union Football Faces Off Against Palos Verdes Peninsula

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Good news for local football fans: Redondo Union will face off with Palos Verdes Peninsula Friday in the first game this season — and with a live video feature so people can watch from home.

The game starts at 3:30 p.m. at Palos Verdes Peninsula, but because in-person attendance is limited due to the pandemic, the game will be livestreamed for people who cannot attend in-person.

Barring no technical difficulties, fans can watch the game live via livestream on the Redondo Union Sea Hawk Football page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RedondoFootball.

The team has some tips on how to watch:

• Make sure to "like" the page (this should cause Facebook to alert you when a live stream starts)
• Scroll down to find the live feed of the game and start watching
• The feed might break up occasionally (bad connection, battery change, etc.). When this happens, keep refreshing the page until it comes up again or click on the link to the Facebook page.
• Also, the livestream works best on a computer or on your phone if you have the Facebook app. It seems to have problems on a phone without the app.

The football program asks people to also consider making a $20 donation or any amount to help with the costs of the football program.

"We are hoping to NOT have to charge for access, so we'll start by asking for a voluntary per household to access the livestream for each game," the group said.
