SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Officers conducted a speed enforcement operation Thursday in multiple locations, and 31 motorists were cited and two were arrested, South San Francisco police said.

Officers issued 24 citations for speeding, six for other moving violations and one for driving on a suspended license, police said.

Two motorists were arrested, according to police; one on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance, and the other on a no-bail warrant on assault charges, police said.
