Oakland Man Killed in Oceanview Shooting On Sunday

A 30-year-old Oakland man has been identified as the victim of a weekend shooting.

A 30-year-old Oakland man who was fatally shot in San Francisco’s Oceanview neighborhood on Sunday morning has been identified by the medical examiner’s office.

San Francisco police found Ryan Washington with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso at about 8 a.m. Sunday when they responded to the 100 block of Broad Street near Plymouth Avenue.

San Francisco police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandan said Washington was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment, but died of his injuries. Police have not released a suspect description in the shooting and have not reported any arrests. The motive for the homicide remains under investigation.
