SACRAMENTO — Buca di Beppo has shuttered its Sacramento location as part of a national wave of closures, according to reports.

“After being part of this community for 25 years, regrettably, Buca di Beppo in Sacramento has closed,” the Italian restaurant chain said Thursday in a prepared statement. “We thank our customers for their loyalty — it was our privilege to be the backdrop for countless gatherings and celebrations over the past two decades.”

The shuttered eateries struggled to recover after the coronavirus pandemic, during which many Buca di Beppo locations became hubs for delivery-only concepts like MrBeast Burger and Pardon My Cheesesteak, according to the magazine.
