Firefighters found a small fire had started accidentally from discarded charcoal briquettes and had burned the home’s patio and part of a fence, Cresta said. It was starting to spread to the house, but firefighters had it out in about 10 minutes with minimal damage to the home, Cresta said.

Damage to the home was not enough to displace the residents. One man who lived at the home was treated for smoke inhalation, but declined to go to the hospital, Cresta said.
