OC Firefighters Knock Out 1.75-Acre Brush Fire In San Juan Capistrano

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — Orange County firefighters made quick work of a 1.75-acre brush fire in San Juan Capistrano Wednesday afternoon, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.

The fire was reported at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday near the area of Valle Road. Firefighters prevented the blaze from reaching nearby homes before the fire was able to spread.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, authorities said. No injuries were reported.
