San Leandro Election Results: Azevedo, Gonzalez Duel for Mayor

SAN LEANDRO, CA — All votes cast in San Leandro and Alameda County on Tuesday have been tallied, along with mail-in ballots that have been received through Tuesday, according to the Alameda County Election website, which released the final vote totals at 9:41 p.m.

Mail-in ballots will continue to be received by Alameda County in the days ahead which means that the lead in some races could change. The ballots needed to be postmarked by Tuesday in order to be valid.

For San Leandro Mayor, Bryan Azevedo is the top vote getter, followed by Juan Gonzalez.

For City Council District 1, Celina Reynes leads Kenneth Pon and David L. Anderson, Sr.

In District 2, Victor Aguilar ran unopposed.

In District 3, Monique Tate leads Xouhoa Bowen.

San Leandro Unified School District has one school board seat up for election, in Area 2.

Jackie Calderón Perl leads Abbey Kerins.

In the hotly contested Alameda County District Attorney's race Terry Wiley has a 6,000 vote lead over Pamela Price.
