MARIN COUNTY, CA — Four people were rescued from an overturned boat over the weekend in Marin County, authorities said.

Shortly after 2:35 p.m. Sunday, the Marin County Fire Department requested assistance from the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office's Henry-1 helicopter after a boat overturned in Tomales Bay. The helicopter was on the ground at the Bodega Bay Fisherman's Festival after conducting a water rescue demonstration.

Henry-1 arrived at the overturned boat about seven minutes after being dispatched, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office. The crew found the overturned boat in the middle of the bay, where two people were in the water clinging to the boat and two others were sitting on the hull.
