SAN RAFAEL, CA — A car crashed into a San Rafael collision repair shop Saturday afternoon after its driver appeared to suffer a medical issue, according to the police.

The department shared photos of the scene Saturday morning showing the aftermath of a vehicle crashing into the front sign of JR Auto Body & Collision Center. Investigators said the driver had a medical emergency, and medics took them to the hospital for treatment.
