Car Stolen From Oakland Recovered In San Rafael

Police said Flock cameras detected the car traveling through San Rafael on Tuesday afternoon.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — A car reported stolen out of Oakland was recovered this week in San Rafael, and two suspects were arrested, according to police.

Investigators said automated license plate readers picked up the car traveling through San Rafael around 2 p.m. Tuesday. Officers deployed to the area and pulled the car over near Canal Steet and Medway Road.

Police said two suspects were taken into custody without incident, and the car was being processed for evidence before it was returned to the owner.
