SAN RAFAEL, CA — Neighbors will have a chance to get outside and help beautify trails this weekend with Marin County Parks. The county is seeking volunteers to help realign Memorial Trail to improve accessibility and reduce erosion. As an added bonus, participants will also get a sneak peak of the new scenic trail in Terra Linda.

The Saturday event is open to all ages 12 and up, but kids must be accompanied by an adult. Organizers ask that participants leave their pets at home, except for service dogs, and recommend participants bring gloves and a water bottle. Volunteers will also get a free lunch.
