MARIN COUNTY, CA — Summer is near, and Marin is readying to celebrate.

The Soul Section, The Hots and Cali-Luv Band will perform at this weekend’s Novato Summer Kickoff Music Festival.

The festival will be held Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. on the lawn at Rickey’s Restaurant (250 Estrada Drive).
