“Mill Valley is a very lively and eclectic town, surrounded in the greater Bay Area by an array of acclaimed restaurants," said CEO Jon Goldsmith, a Local Kitchens co-founder. "We’re honored and excited to bring these beloved brands closer to people’s homes and believe Local Kitchens will be a welcome addition to Mill Valley."

Throughout Califonia, Local Kitchens operates locales in Palo Alto, Mountain View, Campbell, Cupertino, Lafayette, San Jose, Los Gatos, Davis and Roseville, plus further expansion is planned statewide, company officials said.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Local Kitchen founders, Goldsmith, COO Andrew Munday and CTO Jordan Bramble, saw an opportunity to create a food hall experience, "digitally transformed" with seamless, online ordering, fast and reliable service competing against larger chains, the company said.
