No Vaccine Mandate On Horizon For Marin Students: Report
Marin County reports 83 percent of eligible students and 97 percent of faculty are vaccinated.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Marin County officials do not have plans in the works to require a COVID-19 vaccine for students 12 and over to attend school in-person, according to a report.
The Marin Independent Journal reports Dr. Matt Willis said the county has not seen large numbers of students having to quarantine.
The county reports 83 percent of eligible students and 97 percent of faculty are vaccinated.

If the state of California or an individual Marin school district puts a mandate in place, the county could change its policy, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
