North Bay Weather Forecast: See What's In Store
Find out if Punxsutawney Phil's prediction will hold true for the Bay Area this weekend.
NORTH BAY, CA — Rain fell on the Bay Area Tuesday and more showers were forecast Wednesday, but the National Weather Service expects a warmer and drier weekend ahead.
In the North Bay, NWS forecasts weekend afternoon highs of 62 degrees in San Rafael, 68 degrees in Santa Rosa, 65 degrees in Napa and 65 degrees in Fairfield.
This comes in spite of Punxsutawney Phil's prediction Tuesday that another six weeks of winter were in store after the groundhog caught a glimpse of his shadow.

Tuesday's rain levels were expected to be far lower than that of last week's storm. Light showers were forecast to begin tapering off by Wednesday evening and drier days were expected beginning Thursday.
The warmest days are expected to be Saturday and Sunday, which are forecast to see temps in the mid- to upper-60s in most of the Bay Area.
