SAN RAFAEL, CA — Ongoing work to replace the San Rafael Harbor Bridge will require an overnight closure of the Central San Rafael off-ramp on northbound US 101, according to Caltrans.

Initial work on the project started in February 2021 but was suspended later in the year due for environmental adjustments. Work resumed last summer to complete the western portion of the bridge, and the deck portion and bridge approach slab are both complete.

The upcoming ramp closure will allow crews to complete one of the final stages of the project, requiring the northbound ramp to close from 11 p.m. April 11 to 6 a.m. April 12. All work is weather-dependent.
