Peep Diorama Contest

Feeling creative? Enter the Civic Center Library's 3rd Peeps Diorama contest.

Create a diorama depicting your favorite book or story using marshmallow Peeps.

Things to understand before entering the contest:

• Diorama display must be based on a book or have a literature theme.
• Diorama parts should all fit inside a box the size of shoe box.
• All visible parts of the diorama should be decorated.
• All characters in your scene should be made using Peeps.
• Pick up a shoebox and one pack of Peeps at the Information Desk.

Dioramas and entry forms need to be submitted April 4 through April 11. Drop them off at the Library Information Desk. The dioramas will then be on display for one week in the library during which time library patrons will vote to determine The Peeple’s Choice Award on April 18. Winners will be notified on Monday, April 20. Winners in each category will receive fame, glory and a prize! Entries will be judged on originality and overall quality.

Need Inspiration?

Come to the Civic Center Library on Wednesday, April 1 at 3:30 – 5:00 pm and take part in our Peeps Diorama Craft. We supply the box, the peeps, felt and fabric. You bring whatever else you want to put in your diorama.

Children under 5 require adult supervision.
