'Sing Out!' To Benefit Marin-Based 'Til Dawn Music Program

The concert on Friday will feature 'Til Dawn alumni Delta Rae​ and Drew Gasparini​, as well as performances from Still Dawn.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Enjoy a concert and help raise money for music scholarships during "Sing Out," a virtual fundraiser presented by Youth in Arts in Marin County.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of 'Til Dawn, which is the Bay Area's longest-running, year-round teen a cappella ensemble, according to San Rafael-based arts education organization Youth in Arts.

The concert on Friday, Jan. 8, will feature 'Til Dawn alumni Delta Rae and Drew Gasparini, as well as performances from Still Dawn, a chorus of 'Til Dawn singers from years past.

"Supporting young people in the discovery of their creative voices, literally and figuratively, is some of the most vital work of our time," director Austin Willacy said in a news release. "We greatly appreciate the support."

'Til Dawn is an advanced vocal music program that draws its members from local high schools. It celebrates the value of the arts and encourages positive messages about meaningful social issues, according to Youth in Arts. The group performs a mix of rock, pop, blues, jazz and soul standards and contemporary hits, in addition to original songs by group members.

Event proceeds will benefit the 'Til Dawn Scholarship Fund.

The virtual event is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $25.
