And unlike other models, Local Kitchen staff are trained by the restaurants whose dishes they serve.

The company was founded by former DoorDash employees Jon Goldsmith and Andrew Munday, who serve as Local Kitchens’ CEO and COO.

“One of our goals has been to bring the best food from the cities to the suburbs,” Munday told The Business Journal.

“I’ve always admired Mill Valley. It’s a lot like Lafayette (East Bay). I feel like Mill Valley could use more selection.”
