Therapy Dog Stolen In San Rafael: SRPD

San Rafael officers are asking for community help to find a dog taken in downtown San Rafael on Friday.

SAN RAFAEL, CA — Police in San Rafael are asking community members to be on the lookout for "Buddy," a therapy dog in training at a local non-profit who was stolen downtown on Friday.

According to police, the missing pup is a Cavalier poodle mix, with white, short, curly hair and brown spots, weighing 12 pounds. Normally he is wearing a green collar. Police said Buddy was taken from the 1,000 block of Fourth Street.

Investigators shared three photos of the dog on Sunday, with hopes that someone may recognize him.
