BAY AREA, CA -- Hot weather is expected this week in the Bay Area, especially in the inland valleys and hills, according to the National Weather Service.

Weather officials issued a hazardous weather outlook Sunday morning for the East Bay interior valleys, East Bay hills, the southern Salinas Valley, the Santa Lucia Mountains, the Los Padres National Forest and
interior Monterey County.

Temperatures in these areas will range from the mid 90s to 107 degrees.

The heat poses a risk to the health of people who are sensitive to hot weather, according to weather officials.

when the temperatures will be the highest.
