2 Found Dead In Santa Cruz County

The two deaths are reportedly unrelated.

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- Two men were reportedly found dead over the weekend during separate incidents in Santa Cruz. The Santa Cruz Sentinel reported 73-year-old Ernest Nash was found dead around 3 p.m. Sunday, while an unidentified man was found dead around 8 a.m. Saturday.

Both deaths are not believed to be related, the news site reported.

Nash was reportedly found at Gateway Plaza and was "unresponsive in the vehicle and believed drugs may have been factors," the news site reported.

The second man was found "covered in a blanket at the edge of a ditch at Plymouth and Ocean streets downtown," the Sentinel reported.
