Pacific Coast Highway Crash Snarls Traffic In Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CA — Emergency personnel responded to a collision early Wednesday on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, according to authorities.

The Santa Monica Fire Department tweeted shortly before 5 a.m. that it was responding to a crash in the 1500 block of the highway with possible congestion. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.

There was no immediate information released on the extent of injuries. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
