Extra Bedroom Program Returns For Santa Monica Locals

Get discounted hotel rates from now through Jan. 19 for staycations or family and friends visiting this holiday season.

SANTA MONICA, CA – The annual Extra Bedroom Program is returning through the holiday season, Santa Monica Travel & Tourism announced Friday. Santa Monica residents in need of an extra bedroom for visiting friends and family can receive deeply discounted hotel rates from today through Jan. 19, 2019.

Locals can host visitors during the holiday season without sacrificing their budget or space at 16 properties across Santa Monica's collection of hotels.

“Just in time for the holiday season we are pleased to welcome the return of the Extra Bedroom Program,” said Misti Kerns, SMTT president/CEO. “During this special season Santa Monica residents can keep their visitors and loved ones nearby with generous offers from our accommodation partners all while enjoying a taste of our destination’s world-class properties.”

The Extra Bedroom Program doesn’t have to just be for visiting friends and relatives; residents can also partake and enjoy a beachside staycation.
