Why are you seeking elective office?

Santa Monica needs to be cleaned up from the gutter it has fallen into. As a public servant, my job is to serve the public, not special interest groups that have dominated our city council.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have no vested outside interests and cannot be bought.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Lack of transparency, betrayal and lack of duty to the public's needs, hidden agendas, major
development in Santa Monica that was not designed for it.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

  • NO TRANSFER TAX!
  • Hire more police officers. Lift the vaccine mandate.
  • Repeal Prop 47!
  • A 5% utility tax remittance for all households.
  • Restore our City WiFI to the Sunset Park, Pico Corridor and Montana Avenue areas.
  • Why are we taxed for something the general public was using and is not allowed to use in these areas now especially the seniors, low income families, students and people who work from home?
  • Re-open the Fairview Library branch to serve the public immediately.
  • Establish a permanent ice rink at the defunct post office on 5th and Arizona with the investment of the L.A. Kings.
  • Over development has exceed our limits choking us with canyons of cement and steel
  • We need to refurbish existing buildings instead in our city.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

The ability to do due diligence and follow through. Double check all facts and sources. Make sound decisions.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Don't say it if you don't mean it.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

My obligation is to make this a safe and clean city once again for the citizens of Santa Monica and its visitors.
