Mini Fall Festival Held To Usher In New Season In Santa Monica

The City of Santa Monica will hold a Mini Fall Festival where community members of all ages can celebrate the changing seasons.

SANTA MONICA, CA — To usher in the fall season, the City of Santa Monica will hold a Mini Fall Festival where community members of all ages can celebrate the changing seasons.

The festival will take place on Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the weekly Pico Farmers Market at Virginia Avenue Park. The farmer's market will offer seasonal produce and prepared food and will also give families a free pumpkin while supplies last.

During the festival, there will be seasonal craft activities for kids, a family photo booth and the Santa Monica College Glass Pumpkin Sale.

"A highlight of the Mini Fall Festival are the one-of-a-kind handblown glass pumpkins by Santa Monica College Glass Department students," city officials said.

Attendees can also visit tables hosted by city departments such as the Pico Branch Library, the Department of Mental Health, Providence St. John's Community Health Program, NAMI and others.
